Chimney leaks and water problems
Water in a fireplace, stains on a ceiling near the chimney, or damp smells can come from several places. We evaluate the chimney's water protection and tell you where the water is most likely getting in.

- Water in the firebox or dripping from the damper
- Stains on walls or ceilings near the chimney
- Musty smells from the fireplace after rain
What's included
- Evaluation of the cap, chase cover, crown, and visible flashing
- Review of visible masonry condition
- A written recommendation
What's not included
- Roof repairs outside the chimney area, or destructive investigation.
Pricing
$150 evaluation fee. Evaluation services require a $150 evaluation fee paid at booking. If you choose Swift Sweep to complete the recommended work within 90 days, the $150 is credited toward the approved service.

- If you can, note when the leak shows up (heavy rain, wind direction) — it helps pinpoint the source.
