Common questions
How often should a chimney be swept?
The widely used guideline (NFPA 211) is to have chimneys inspected once a year and cleaned as needed. How often cleaning is needed depends on how much you burn and what you burn.
Is the sweep separate from the inspection?
No. Sweeping is included with our Level 1+ Inspection, so there's one visit and one price.
